Replacement 18V Regulator for Series 1 Regulator boards

Replacement mini-PCB for the overheated 18VDC Zener Diode and resistor On Bally Home Pinball Games - Series 1. 

Installation process:

1. Unplug MPU board in headboard
2. Remove 18V Zener Diode
3. Remove 18V resistor
4. Install module
5. Bend leads to get better connection.
6. Solder in place, cut off excess lead.
7. Power test before installing MPU board for 18VDC between pin 20 (Orange-Red wire) and common pin 8 (black wire) of the upper connector (CONN C) to the MPU.
8. All good? Connect and play!

Please do the following checks/tests checks prior to purchase:

• You need a temperature controlled soldering iron to avoid damaging your board
• Some Solder Wick or other solder removing tool to clean up the board prior to parts installation
• Good quality solder 60/40 or 63/37 lead/tin mixture

Use your voltmeter to check that you see the voltages at the power pins for the MPU board before plugging in the MPU board after repairs - to be sure you didn't make a mistake.
