If this is not working reliably first check the Cancel Microswitch (shown below) that activates it (the more common failure).
If one or both coils are burned out, then you need to make sure the series light bulb has not shorted (very rare) and replace the Circuit Breaker as it should protect these coils from burning out long before they fail.
