What is a 8AG fuse? The 8AG cartridge fuses are small glass electronic fuses with nickle plated brass end caps.
The 8AG fuse dimensions are a diameter of 1/4 inch and a length of 1inches (6.35 X 25.4MM) and are used in some Arcade Games including Bally (8AG - 3/16A E-133-29) and Stern pinball Regulator Boards, jukeboxes, and video games.
The 8AG
designation stands for Automotive Glass and reflects its original design
as an automotive fuse back in the 1930's.
They are typically in compliance with UL and CSA standards.
Fuses with these dimensions and construction type are also offered under the BSI - Britain and JIS - Japan standards.
