Bally/Stern Replacement Rectifier Board

Pinhead designed for any game using the Bally Power Transformer Module AS-2877, AS-2877-1, or AS2877-3 - Bally Rectifier Board Assembly AS-2518-18 or AS-2518-49 (KISS)

Replacement Bally/Stern Rectifier Board Assembly Features list:

Plug and play replacement board for Bally and Stern rectifier board assemblies. (OK, solder and play, you can't plug it in)

LEDs for each power supply voltage, this simplifies problem finding.

Easy test point loops for checking voltages, easy to troubleshoot.

Heat sinks are provided for all three bridge rectifiers.

Top mounted heavy duty 35 amp bridge rectifiers for added reliability.

Through hole design for easier soldering and serviceability, extra wide copper traces to reduce heating on pins = long life!

Unlike other manufacturers, all PinHead Rectifier boards are professionally wave soldered using high quality ultrapure solder designed by Kester, the leading manufacturer for solder. This greatly improves the aesthetics and reliability of all solder joints.

High temperature 170tg FR-4 material and extra thick copper with flooded ground plains, which reduce noise and help dissipate heat.

High temperature resistant fuse cover to protect you from high voltages.

Includes an additional ground terminal, which provides an alternate path for the ground plain and relieves stress from the existing E8 ground connection.

Increased the resistance value of the power resistors to decrease the operating temperature. Also increased the power rating of R2 from 10 watts to 15 watts.

Every board has clearly marked E connections on both sides of the board for easy installation.

Includes an accessory pack with all the necessary parts for mounting the new board and rebuilding those old worn out and burnt connectors.

Includes all fuses.

Compatible with Future Spa, KISS and Space Invaders.

Meets current ANSI/IPC-2221 specifications (other than resistor mounting).

Note this is not for amateurs! It is possible to screw things up and destroy your game! Do not attempt this unless you have experience with reading schematics and wiring diagrams and are familiar with voltmeters, etc. Hazardous voltages can be present if the machine is powered up!
