Tempered Playfield Glass - Bally early EM 21 41.5

Standard width tempered (safety) playfield glass for the Bally games that had a metal frame that contained the glass and lifted up - Dimensions are 21 X 41-1/2 inches, 5mm (3/16 inch) thick. All our glass is tempered, and the edges sanded and beveled for safe handling. Like all tempered glass never set an edge on a hard surface like cement or cast metal!

When reassembling the glass in the frame start with cleaning the rubber U channels. Place the top edge metal first on the glass, with the U channel's rubber ribbed side to topside (outside surface) of glass then wet the rubber with dish detergent to slide it into place. Then add one side rail at a time, remember to have the ribbed side  of U channel rubber facing topside of glass and lube the U channel outside with a bit more detergent. Just enough to be slippery, but not dripping.
