Tapered Pin
This 4 inch (10.5cm) tapered pin (0.089" small end x 0.172" big end - your pin needs fit within this range small end to large) is used in the restoration or overhaul of Wurlitzer SIMPLEX style mechanisms from the 12 play, through the 16, and the 24 record versions. This is for the Main Cam Shaft Assembly where the kidney shaped cam is on one end and the main fiber drive gear is towards the other end, and also for the smaller shaft with the toothed wheel.
You cut the pin once sized up in the assembly, It usually takes two pins to do a complete assembly - you first use the larger end for the 1/2 inch shaft, and the cutoff section often fits the 3/8 shaft. A spare or two tapered pin is never a bad idea...
You may also want to get the Taper Pin Reamer in case the hole is damaged, you need to replace the 1/2 inch steel shaft, or...
