Bushing 3/8 ID x 1/2 OD x 5/8 Long
This sintered bronze bushing is used in Wurlitzer SIMPLEX style mechanisms from the 12, 16, and the 24 record versions. This is for the smaller shaft (Selector Shaft Assembly) where the heart shaped cam and tooth gear is on one end and the selection arm is on the other.
You need to know how to install bushings in pot metal frames that never had a bushing before - it is easy to wreck the frame, I recommend a machine shop to install and align the bushing (two bushings if the front of the frame is also worn) using a straight 3/8 inch cold rolled steel rod to check alignment.
Machines this will work on include:
- 412
- 616
- 500
- 750
- 800
- 900
- 1015
- 1100
and others in the same period that use a 1/2 inch metal shaft. Probably work in Seeburg and Rockola pre-war and some post war models too.
